By submitting to us your Personal Information or using our website (the “Website”), you accept this Policy and consent to its terms and any terms otherwise described to you at the time of collection of your Personal Information. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy, please do not use the Website or otherwise provide your Personal Information to us.

What is Personal Information?

By Canadian federal law, it does not include publicly available information, such as business contact information or a public directory listing of your name, address, telephone number or information that is aggregated and not associated with a specific individual, including demographic information and statistics.

Any material, information or other communication (including questions, comments or suggestions) you transmit to Aquila through this Website will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary (“Communications”). In making any such transmission, you agree that Aquila will have no obligations of any kind with respect to the Communications and the Communications will be treated in accordance with the Terms of Use governing your use of this Website. Where it is necessary, in order to answer your enquiry, the Communications you have provided may be passed on to any of Aquila’s employees or consultants and treated in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

When you send us a Communication, we will collect the following types of information from you: name, address, email, company, title, investor type, your comments and questions, and your areas of interest in our company or industry.

In addition, our Website may automatically record some general information about your visit which we then use for statistical analysis to help make our Website more useful to visitors. Aquila will only use Personal Information to respond to your enquiry and will not use Personal Information for any other purpose without your consent.

We assume that by using our Website, you consent to allow us to collect your service provider domain name, your system information and your Website and Internet usage data for the Analytical Purposes.

Withdrawal of Consent

You always have the option to tell us not to share your Personal Information with third parties or to exclude you from offers for products or services. Also, we will not refuse to provide a product or service to you if you choose not to provide us with your Personal Information, unless your failure to provide such information makes us unable to provide such product or service.

We will keep Personal Information only for as long as it remains necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. We use secure means of disposing of Personal Information.

How to Access Your Personal Information

Aquila is accountable for all Personal Information in our control. We have a designated Privacy Officer who is ultimately accountable for the handling of all Personal Information under our control and for ensuring that the principles set out in this Policy are being complied with.

In the event you have questions about the accuracy of factual information we have collected about you, you can have access to that information in order to verify and update it.
